Submissions
Barbarian Books is a small press eBook
publisher. No print runs. We buy genre fiction. We pay
70% royalties on net. Your eBook will be formatted for
all major digital formats (including Kindle, Nook, Apple,
and others).
We do not
charge our authors any fees, ever.
We are seeking well written, well edited,
original manuscripts. We trust the author's voice. While we may fix obvious typos, we do
not offer edits or revisions.
What we will do for you as an author, beyond
publish your manuscript, is promote your title(s) aggressively and
extensively. We plan for Barbarian Books to be the go to place for
readers to download “great reads for great readers,” our motto.
While we expect our authors to promote as well, what we want most is
for you to produce more great reads.
If we agree to publish your eBook we will
ask for all digital rights for three years. All other rights remain
with the author. We encourage, but do not require, the authors to
copyright their work.

We will provide, at no charge, genre
specific Barbarian Books cover art for your work. You are allowed
and encouraged to design or have designed unique cover art. (We do
not offer this service. Remember, no fees.) We recommend clean
simple designs. Keep in mind, the cover art for an eBook is usually
viewed at thumbnail size. Details are not noticed and the impact of
your design will be lost.
